Welcome Back!

We welcome you back following the Christmas Celebrations. We look forward to a new and bright year ahead in school

January 6th – The Feast of the Epiphany

The star guided the three wise men to the place in Bethlehem where a child had been born in a stable. They came to give precious gifts to the one who would become King, the Son of God.


Let it Snow!

Often at this time of year we see snow falling which although fun for many, can mean disruptions as we often cannot travel as freely as we would like - to work, school or shopping. Should the school be affected by snow you will normally find information out by listening to Radio Derby. It is not often wise to ring school as the switch board could be busy, but if in doubt take it that we are open unless you hear otherwise from staff.

This is a great time of year if your child has not experienced snow before. They can discover the touch of snow, build snowmen and many other fun activities seeing winter at it's best.
